Get evaluated. : A reddish tinge to the urine could signify blood, or hematuria. Flank pain and a temperature point to a possible urinary tract infection. See your physician for a detailed history, physical exam, and some urine testing with a dipstick, urinalysis, and culture. If the likelihood of a UTI is high, empiric treatment may be started.
