My 4 year old daughter has loose bowels the last 2 days what can this be from (runs) shes not eating much no temperature but has is very flemy. any sug?

Likely viral: The average 4yo will have 2-3 diarrhea illnesses/yr form a variety of intestinal viruses. These are often acquired at day care or other community settings & brought home on contaminated fingers. They can start with or without fever & may or may not include vomiting. They will generally self heal if the kid can stay hydrated & things like apple sauce & fresh bananas often help them firm their poo.
