No scientificpaper: There is no scientific paper getting prostate cancer from flaxseed oil , you have to give , which paper. Flaxseed oil contains ( suposed to ) omega-3 and omga--6 fatty acids., take from there what ever benefits it has..

Flaxseed & prostate : Studies about prostate cancer & flaxseed -- a rich source of the omega-3 fatty acid ala -- are confusing. At university of maryland medical center, some men who took flaxseed with a low-fat diet had slower prostate tumor growth than men who didn't supplement. But mayo clinic reported an increased risk of prostate cancer in some men who took ala -- not specifically naming flax seed. ? To suggest.
