Depends: If you are a smoker, stop. If you have never been fully evaluated for genetic disorders which may place you at higher risk of infections, see a primary care physician, establish a relationship and be worked up thoroughly. If you can stay removed from individuals with viral infections, do so. If not, wash hands after touching such persons, wear a face mask during periods of exposure.

See below: You may have lingering asthma - try maintenance medications such as inhaled steroid and/or avoiding triggers. Also make sure you get the flu and pneumonia vaccines. Good luck!
