It would be : Important to know the precise location of pain. Could be a few problems i.E tenosynovitis of the flexor hallucis longus if the pain is in the back of the heel, a talar dome lesion (like a bone bruise to the top of the talus bone.) you need a clinical exam (bring your heels with you for the visit.).
