What kind of: injury did you have? If you can remember how it happened, then it would be easier for the clinician to determine if you have injured your gastrocnemius/ soleus (calf muscles) tendon or a ligament in your knee joint. It sounds like you have a serious injury so get examined properly by a HC professional as soon as possible.
