Coxsackie virus...: ...Typically causes hand-foot-mouth disease which involves sores in the mouth (sometimes very painful ones) and a rash. The text-book rash is vesicles on the hands and feet, but sometimes it's on the trunk, diaper area, arms or legs; and often it's not vesicles. Sometimes it's a little itchy, sometimes not. Maintain hydration and it runs its course and goes away.
