Mgt: From your description there may be an allergic reaction. I would advise letting your PCP know and a dose of over the counter children's anti histamine such as Claritin (loratadine) may be used. It may be related to the virus or an allergic trigger. Your PCP will obtain a history including whether there were new foods, medications, lotions etc.
