TMD: The first thing i would do is call the TMJ specialist however I do not believe it is related. Next i would see my ENT doctor as i believe it is related to the ENT and can be treated by them relatively easily.

Probably not related: It is probably not related but i would have TMJ specialist look at your night guard if it is older than 24 months. See you family doctor to rule out sinus/allergy problems and possible referral to ENT (ear, nose and throat doc).

Need more info: Did you have the ear stuffiness back in 2007 that went away with your tmj/tmd treatment? Iwould see a doctor and then maybe an ENT or the doctor who treated you in 2007. May not even be related.

See physician: It is probably not related to tmd. I would suggest seeing a physician for an assessment of your ear and the congestion.

Could be TMJ or ears: Ask your TMJ specialist. Your night guard may need adjusting. If he feels it's not TMJ, see an ENT doc.
