Skin color changes: Hyperpigmentation can be the result of trauma or skin irritation like scratching or shaving. This is an inflammatory reaction and there's no great cream or pill that will reverse it immediately. Sometimes it takes a few months for the skin to go back to normal. A visit to your pcp or dermatologist can also be helpful to make sure no other process is going on. Best of luck.
