A member asked:

How common is mrsa in 10 year-old healthy girls?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pretty common: Most physicians have seen more MRSA in their outpatient setting this past 5 yrs than the previous decades. It accounts for about 70% of outpatient small & large pustules or abscesses & responds well to incision & drainage along with oral antibiotics.I consider it a minor issue.
