Precautions: Skin-to-skin contact. Mrsa transmitted from one person to another by skin-to-skin contact. Contaminated objects. If drainage from an MRSA skin infection comes into contact with an object like towel or equipment, next person who touches that object may become infected with MRSA bacteria.Appropriate hand hygiene , washing with soap and water or using an alcohol-based hand rub can prevent spread.
