Progressive result: Cosmetic enhancement with Botox is not immediate nor permanent. You should discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor before signing a consent for treatment. Once your doctor has expertly placed the product in specific muscles with a tiny needle, your results will be apparent over the next 3-10 days. If you experience unexpected results, you should contact your Botox doctor immediately.

Painless improvement: Botox injections are nearly painless and will start to work within 2-3 days. The effect peaks at about 1-2 weeks and lasts from 2-4 months. Reduction in wrinkles that occur with motion happens very quickly. Wrinkles that are seen at rest don't get better right away, but may get better if you repeat the treatment without letting it wear off. Very safe and very effective.

Botox - Cosmetic: Botox treatment in the facial areas are given with small needles to help improve wrinkles and smooth the skin. Botox treatments are quick and commonly don't require any anesthesia. Patients may feel very brief discomfort, but most report it feels like a "pinch". Results develop over a couple days and last for months.

A pinch: Botox injections feel like a slight pinch at the area of the needle. Results become apparent over the next 1-2 weeks. Results last for 3-4 months. Wrinkles in treated areas will become less apparent or even totally disappear. Very safe and very effective!

Quick and easy: Botox is a quick and easy way to improve your lines. The injection uses a tiny needle. Some doctors use numbing cream or ice to minimize the pain, but even without it's not bad. You will have multiple injections (4-6 per area). It takes about a week to see full results. It lasts about 3-5 months. Eases stressed look: Botox is widely used for issues relating to wrinkles & muscular problems in children & adults. Properly injected, you should have a relaxed and "pretty look" rather than a frozen appearance. The injections are easy to tolerate, if the injector has a gentle hand. Overall, you will notice a lessening of furrows, balancing forehead muscles and calmer appearance. www.artofplasticsurgery.com
