Obstructive : Sleep apnea is associated with high blood pressure and can cause small strokes. High blood pressure is associated with cerebral aneurysm formation and rupture.

Increased risk: Apnea patients have a 2x increased risk for stroke and 65-80% of stroke patients have sleep apnea.
