I have mild sleep apnea, ahi 8, my oxygen drops to 84% at times. i had persistent bp of 130s/80s but not sure if i made the right decision to take bp med because now i feel more drunk and foggy when i wake up. brain needs higher bp if oxygen is low?

These conditions are related, and hypertension is more common in patients with OSA. Keep nasal passages clear with nasal saline and nasal strips which are often helpful. The medication dosage and side effects should be discussed with your PCP and additional advice is also available with HTMG. Watch for signs and symptoms of Diabetes and maintain a healthy diet and exercise routine.
