Many options: Physical therapy with a focus on posture techniques, core and pelvic strengthening & hamstring and hip flexor stretching. Medications, with anti-inflammatories most often used. Tens unit, low back brace, epidural steroid injections, weight loss, massage are also used. Surgery is usually reserved for those with unrelenting arm/leg pain or severe low back/neck pain failing all nonsurgical treatment.
