Finger nails: You need fingernails that are not too long or too short. For a an upper partial, place your fingernails on the claps of the partial on both sides and pull down at the same time.

Fingers & nails: Partial dentures are removed with your fingers and more easily with your fingernails, by grabbing the acrylic saddles or the metal clasps. Generally they need to be removed carefully by using both hands at the same time in a gentle rocking action away from the gums (down on upper partials, and up on lower partials).

It is simple...: Using your fingers you should be able to lift them out. The dentist should be able to adjust them to allow for the removable to go smoothly.

By lifting up: Place your finger tips under the pink flange areas and/or clasps and push up or pull down depending upon which jaw is involved.
