PSA: Psa is an excellent way to monitor response to most prostate cancer treatments. After surgery, the ideal result would be less than 0.01 ng/dl. After radiation, a low (less than 0.5 to 1), stable level indicates a good result. A discussion with your doctor regarding your specific situation is most important since every case is unique.
