'metabolic syndrome': These 3 problems are all associated with each other! often need combination therapy, more than 1 med, for each problem, as each problem due to multiple mechanisms-each drug usually treats only 1-2 mechanisms patients, family society but left untreated cost to all greater as you then must treat all the complications of the untreated diseases- heart attacks, strokes amputations, dialsis, blindn.
