Tingling ears: Assuming you do not meaning ringing...Tingling ears possibly from laying on the nerves that exit the skull to give rise to sensation of the ear...If you mean ringing..Important to know whether it is dependent on laying down or dependent on sleeping..Laying down may increase pressure in brain...In prole with pseudo tumor cerebri or brain tumors this is not uncommon.

Experiencing a Tingling Numbness on outside of right ear while sleeping?

Sleep on right side?: If this happens only when you are lying on your pillow, be sure that your earlobe is not folded . Perhaps you need a softer pillow. If you tend to sleep on the right side, this would likely be the cause for your problem. You need to clarify also whether the tingling awakes you from your sleep or noted only after you are awake.
