A member asked:

Is it necessary for a patient of keretoconus, who has taken the c3r treatment to wear hard lenses?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends: Depending on the curvature of your cornea after the c3r treatment, you may still need contact lenses to correct your vision. Collagen crosslinking can stabilize the cornea, but does not necessarily correct your vision to be perfect without glasses or contacts.
