My husband has had bronciatis twice this year. now his doctor wants him to have a ct scan he seems to think that it is hemothorax . concerned?

Does not make sense?: Bronchitis twice a year may suggest bronchial asthma, bronchiectesis may be excluded by ct scan of the chest. However, hemothorax is a totally different condition which is caused by trauma, tumor or tuberculosis, the 3 ts. I doubt that two episodes of bronchitis would suggest hemothorax. He may need lung specialist.
