Wouldnt do it: Im in orthopedics and have run several full and half marathons so while you can train id ease back during pregnancy your high level of fitness should help your pregnancy but there are alway more races to run - you have to be smart about knowing when not to run or exercise.

Ask OB MD: I have club mates who have run very close to their delivery dates. Much depends upon how you feel and your level of fitness. Always consider if the training / racing will deprive your developing child of oxygen and nutrients. 90 - 120 minutes of relatively intense exercise may present just such a situation. Plenty of other races, but only one developing child. Perhaps volunteer to help out.
