A member asked:

How many servings of vitamin c should i consume daily?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

500-1000mg per day: The old recommended daily allowance for vitamin c was 100 mg. We do get ample vitamin c normally in our diet. New guidelines are suggesting 500-1000mg per day. (does not have to be in separate "servings". Excessive dosages for long periods could cause kidney stones. Most excess vitamin c passes in your urine.
