Urine: Some medications can cause your urine to turn orange - but in this case there is no medication being administered. Malodorous urine and change in color such as you are describing needs to be evaluated.

Need testing: Dark orange urine with no other symptoms in a patient who is not taking any medication could be a sign of biliary obstruction. Usually it is accompanied with light color stool. The addition of weight loss could be a sign of malignancy in the pancreas or the bile ducts. A urinalysis and a blood test is needed along with other diagnostic imaging to come up with the right diagnosis.
