Dehydration?: Are you drinking enough fluids, specifically water? It is the kidneys job to remove accumulated acids. For water conservation the kidney can remove these acids in a very concentrated urine, which would then be dark with a strong smell. Drink more free water, at least an extra quart of free water in addition to any other fluids ingested in a day.
