A doctor has provided 1 answer

Reflux?: You might consider atypical gastro esophageal reflux--- some people won't get the typical heartburn symptoms but have a primary complaint of throat soreness from the acid reflux ing up that high. Could try some antacids empirically, or see doc for possible upper endoscopy.
