I had a ct angiogram of my head & neck last week. all was normal. however, since they did the scan w/ the contrast & dye, i've had pain in the area around my thyroid? thoughts?

If you or anyone else or any equipment didn't come in contact with your thyroid gland, the discomfort could be psychogenic or due to something else. If your MD feels that your thyroid is tender, a thyroid panel could be drawn to exclude thyroid inflammation. See your MD as needed.

I had an angiogram of head and neck. Upon entering I had severe tortuosity of the innominate artery but they were able to do this procedure. Dr never mentioned it. Could this mean I could have a future vascular problem? Is this normal? Or indicate?
