Maybe not : There is a condition called temporal arteritis that can cause tenderness in that area. This is a blood vessel disease due to inflammation. See your doctor and discuss your symptoms.

Chronic Head Pain: Good day; Could there be a stress component to your chronic pain? Are either of your temporomandibular joints tender to pressure(palpation) ? Consider a visit to ENT or DDS specializing in TMJ care.
