Exercises for those who are elderly and have limited mobility (use walker)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Walking: If there are no pressing medical issues, and no significant pain, then they should simply walk as much as they can. Studies have shown that bedrest can result in daily loss of muscle mass. This is why hospitalized patients can be so debilitated after lengthy stays, in addition to whatever medical condition they were being treated for. For the elderly, simply staying mobile can be beneficial.
