Nerve pain: Nerve pain is understood but what is "raw"? Does that mean bad or something else? Nerve pain is best treated with anticonvulsants, tricyclics, snris, local anesthetics (topically or orally administered), sleep enhancers, various electrical modalities, moderate (or mild) exercise. Opioids should be introduced only after other treatment fail or are insufficient.
