Towels; heating pads: Bath towels soaked in hot water, wrung out, & placed in plastic bag & then between thin layer of cloth (to prevent burns) will help sooth back muscles & nerves. There are also heating pads available which safely incorporate a moist component to sooth/relax pain & spasm.

Hot shower heating p: Hot showers, hot stones, heating pad and corsets with pouches built in to hold heat generating materials or chemical patches applied directly to region. It does not matter how it is applied but don't burn yourself. The heat will relieve any muscular symptoms.
