Maximal medical Rx: An otolaryngologist should perform a nasal endoscopy with culture of any suspicious mucus. Maximal medical therapy would consist of a 3 to 4 week course of culture-directed antibiotics, saline sinus rinses, intranasal steroids, oral steroids, and intranasal antihistamines. A post-treatment ct scan of the sinuses should then be performed. The next step in management can thn be determined.
