What is cause: Why are your legs sore? If training could be anything from shoe wear, running surfaces and type of training you are doing. For acute soreness after activty icing and elevation is best with simple stretches. Warm whirlpool, deep massage may help in between work outs. Persisent soreness should be evaluated..

Sore legs: Frequently the soreness is a Lactic Acid build up. Contrast baths help a lot - warm then cool to create a pumping action. Proper warm down and warm up helps a lot as well.
