Sinusitis: Most of the time, that kind of pain comes from a sinus infection. It can be acute sinusitis if it is of recent onset (less than 3 weeks), or chronic sinusitis, if it has been there for a long time. Other problems can mimic sinusitis, such as atypical migraines. In either case, you should speak to an ENT to find out the cause of the pain, and what to do to get rid of it.
