A member asked:

I have glaucoma in my left eye and a large maxillary sinus cyst in my left sinus cavity. could the cyst have caused the glaucoma?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: It is a coincidence that they are on the same side. The cyst is isolated within the sinus separated by a bony interface. Even if the cyst were contacting the eye, the pressures would equalize and the cyst would advertise itself by protruding the eye - a quite different problem.
