A member asked:

Radiology report mri: "bubbly residue" left sinus cavity, what could that be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably mucous: The paranasal sinuses are usually air-filled but it is not uncommon to see small amounts of fluid and/or mucous, which can occasionally have a frothy appearance on a ct scan. "bubbly residue" is admittedly not standard medical terminology.
