Can vary: Varies with your location etc. If just a crown is required it can vary from 700 to 1000 dollars. If rct is also required it could be an additional 700 to 1200 dollars.

Depends: You mentioned a tooth. However a big overjet is usually involving multiple teeth, or at least top and bottom. The best way to improve this is with orthodontics, such as invisalign. The cost for ortho treatment varies from place to place. Where are you located?

Variable: Don't focus so much on the price but understand the options. An overjet can be solved orthodontically with braces or prosthodontically through the use of crowns. The crowns will eventually need to be replaced, the braces will shift if you don't wear your retainers. Price is the smallest of your concerns. You need to figure out which option fits your desires for your teeth. Then proceed.

Cost of treatment: Cost of treatment varies according to the type of treatment being provided, training and skill of the practitioner, insurance coverage, location of the practice, and so many other variables. If you have a malocclusion (bad bite, such as big overjet) it would be prudent to see a specialist Orthodontist for an (usually free) Initial Examination to discuss treatment options.

So many variables: Like most dental issues, the public is often confused. "big overjet" implies much more than what is involved in managing issues with a single tooth. Simply put, without much more detail, it's impossible to "estimate" it without seeing it. See a dentist.
