Overjet: Overjet indicates back teeth not interdigitating properly. Cause may be dental/skeletal/combination. SD is not comprehensive Orthodontic care. It's like wrapping a broken leg in Saran Wrap instead of applying a cast. Go see a qualified Orthodontic Specialist (Initial Exam usually free) to determine actual severity of your malocclusion and treatment options.
