The danger is...: In not giving it. In the prevaccine age, far too many children died from complications of measles, new babies suffered severe damage from congenital rubella and mumps was the most common cause of viral meningitis in winter months. Please vaccinate your toddler.

Baby just turned 1 (9/8)&at her doc appt today, the doc gave her 2 vaccines (MMR & Varicella).He gave the injections in the upper buttocks, one on the left side one on the right side. I've never seen a baby/ toddler get a shot there. Is this normal?
