How did vaccines differ in the 70's compared to now? are they stronger/better now versus decades ago? i can't access records from that time. i wonder if they did my mmr shots differently back then. (i know i had them, just unsure of the sequence)?

Not much difference. Some last forever others do not. Discuss with your Dr who knows what has been the experience there in folks like you. You can be tested to see if you have antibodies as well.

The MMR was born when they combined earlier vaccines for single entities- the Measles/Mumps & Rubella into one.(1971) The technology and formulation has not changed significantly. They went from one dose at 1 yr to 2 doses at least a month apart in the early 1990's. They work so well they have chosen not to change things.
