When tooth erupts: As teeth erupt babies can be fussy, sleepless and irritable, lose their appetite or drool more than usual. Try rubbing their gums with a clean finger, a small cool spoon or a moist guaze pad. A clean teething ring or pacifier will help. Be patient.

Depends on the child: Drooling from teething may last a couple of days to a few weeks. Once the the tooth comes in the drooling should stop, but will start again when the next tooth comes in. Babies often teeth in cycles. So expect to go through a few rounds.

Depends: The drooling may last as long as your child is teething. Carry a few extra clean washcloths to help keep clean.
