A member asked:

My 1yo is teething, & its his molars. he is drooling alot & has had a fever for 2 days , i give him tylenol but it isnt coming down. when he gets a fever, he gets drowsy and sleeps, which i know is normal, but when should i worry about his fever?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Teething molars?: There's a reason baby molars are called 2 year & 3 year, not 1 year. Low grade fever (under 100))/drooling/irritability/mouthing everything are signs of teething. If fever over 100, immediately contact Pediatrician. If fever under 100 see pediatric dental specialist, a Pedodontist, to asses order of eruption, Recommended that ALL children have 1st Dental Examination no later than 1st b'day.
