A member asked:

Can hyperparathyroidism cause any type of bone cancer?

No but...: It will predictably produce areas where the bone is destroyed, if untreated. These mimic cancer. And a bone cancer, either primary or metastsatic, can often raise serum calcium and be mistaken at first for hyperparathyroidism.
