Need diagnosis...: You need to see your doctor for diagnosis and treatment. If you are a smoker, you may have chronic bronchitis, a form of copd. Other possibilities include bronchospasm from some other etiology, gerd, post-nasal drip or a combination of factors. If you smoke, smoking cessation is absolutely necessary and your doctor can help with this as well.
