Tonsil bumps: Bumps on tonsils may be normal. Tonsils are typically not smooth. If your tonsils look particularly bumpy and this is not their usual state, you should have your doctor or an otolaryngologist (ENT) have a look at them, especially if you are also experiencing throat pain, difficulty or pain swallowing or fever.
