how much exercise should one person work out per day?

1 doctor answer
Dr. John Garner
15 years experience Cardiology
A minimum of…: Generally speaking, benefits to the cardiovascular system require at least 30 minutes of exercise every other day at something over 60 but less than 85% of predicted maximum heart rate. Use 220 minus age for men or 210 minus age for women to (very) roughly approximate your maximum heart rate.
