Should be alright: Like any surgical procedures in the mouth like extracting a tooth it involves soft tissue healing and takes 2 weeks for tissue to heal. The discomfort should be just that same day, plus two to three more days give and take. A generalized soreness in the area of graft and should get managed with painkillers. Everyone's healing time and level of tolerance for soreness is different.

Not much: The severety of your pain or discomfort depends on the intensity of the procedure and your health status. Bone grafting surgery is not an aggresive procedure and in most case, would not produce too much pain. The discomfort is mostly from incision or the suturing.

Varies: There alot of different types and complexities of bone grafts. In general, the recovery is similar to that of a dental extraction. In some cases, a more significant recovery is required.

Dental bone graft: There different types of dental bone grafts. If the bone is harvested from your own body it can be a bit more involved and you will need more time to recuperate. Make sure your dentist goes over the exact nature of the procedure so you know what to expect.

Not much: Usually not much at all. Sore tissue from procedure and anesthesia and stiches, but very manageable. Most patients go back to work same day or next day. 7 - 10 days of discomfort and annoyance is all, if even that. Good luck.

Depends: It depends on the size and the location of the bone graft. Usually bone grafting procedures will result in discomfort for 2-3 days. Larger bone grafts can cause discomfort for a week sometimes. Consult with your doctor.
