No: Colloid goiter would not cause changes in urinary frequency. Two conditions to consider are diabetes mellitus (high blood sugar) or diabetes insipidus which is a problem with the hormone ddavp (desmopressin). You should see your doctor for assessment.

No relation: Excessive thirst and urination will not cause a thyroid goiter, and likewise, thyroid goiter does not cause excessive thirst and urination. See your doctor to get blood test ruling out for diabetes, or urinary tract infection. Check your medications also to make sure none of them are causing your symptoms. Good luck.
