Proper workup: The workup of polyuria includes a check of the blood glucose which I assume was okay, BUN and creatinine which I will assume are okay, and a check of urine concentrating ability. For this, you go without water as long as you can, comfortably, then see if your urine SG is over 1.020. If not, begin the diabetes insipidus workup. Vitamin assays are good for general health but not key.
